剑道独尊

**Chapter 25: The Web of Deception**

Chen Yang's eyes never left the girl's as he waited for her response. He could feel the tension building between them, the air thick with unspoken words. "I know you're hiding something," he said, his voice firm but controlled. "What is it?"

The girl's gaze faltered, and for a moment, Chen Yang thought he saw a flicker of fear in her eyes. But it was quickly replaced by a mask of innocence. "I'm not hiding anything," she said, her voice sweet and innocent.

Chen Yang's eyes narrowed. He had seen through her lies. "Don't play dumb with me," he warned. "I've seen the way you looked at me earlier. You're hiding something, and I aim to find out what it is."

The girl's eyes flashed with anger, and Chen Yang knew he had struck a nerve. "You're just jealous because I'm getting close to the truth," she spat.

Chen Yang raised an eyebrow. "Jealous? You think I'm jealous of you?" He chuckled. "I've got nothing to be jealous of. You're just a pawn in a much larger game."

The girl's face turned white as she took a step back. "How dare you," she hissed. "You're just as guilty as the rest of them."

Chen Yang's eyes locked onto hers. "What are you talking about?" he asked, his voice cold and detached.

The girl's eyes seemed to bore into his soul as she spoke. "You're just as guilty as the rest of them," she repeated. "You're all just playing their game, and I'm the only one who's going to stop them."

Chen Yang's gaze lingered on hers, his mind racing with the implications. What game was she talking about? And what did she know that he didn't?

As he stood there, frozen in thought, he suddenly felt a hand on his shoulder. He turned to see Yuwen standing behind him, her eyes narrowed in a warning glance.

"Chen Yang, we need to leave," she whispered urgently. "Now."

Chen Yang's eyes snapped back to the girl's, and he knew that his time was running out. He turned to Yuwen, his expression grim. "What's going on?" he asked.

Yuwen's eyes flickered with a mixture of fear and determination. "The Master has discovered our plan," she whispered. "We need to get out of here before he finds us."

Chen Yang's gaze locked onto the girl's once more, and he knew that he had to make a choice. He could either trust Yuwen and leave, or he could stay and face whatever danger lay ahead.

As he stood there, hesitating, he heard the sound of footsteps echoing through the hallway. The Master had found them.

And in that moment, Chen Yang knew that his journey was far from over. The web of lies had just gotten thicker, and he was about to find himself tangled in its deadly snare.

To be continued...
