第95章 "Midnight Revelation"

都市之最强狂兵

**Chapter 95: The Investigation**

Xiao Zhan rubbed his temples, trying to dispel the lingering fog from the battle. He sat up in bed, his gaze falling on the clock on his nightstand. 2:47 AM. He let out a deep breath and swung his legs over the side of the bed, his movements slow and deliberate.

As he stood up, his eyes landed on the surveillance footage playing on his computer screen. He had managed to hack into the security cameras surrounding the Scarlet Dragon's headquarters, and the footage was too incriminating to ignore.

Xiao Zhan's jaw clenched as he watched Shen Yi's goons brutally beating the Scarlet Dragon's guards. He could feel his anger simmering, the urge to strike back growing with every passing second.

Suddenly, his phone buzzed, breaking the spell. Xiao Zhan's eyes narrowed as he saw the caller ID. Yang Wei.

"Yang Wei, what do you want?" Xiao Zhan's voice was low and even.

"We've received a message from the Scarlet Dragon's headquarters," Yang Wei's voice was tight with tension. "They're demanding a meeting at the old abandoned factory on the outskirts of town. They claim it's urgent."

Xiao Zhan's grip on his phone tightened. "What did you tell them?"

"We told them we'd send someone, but we're not sure what to make of it," Yang Wei replied. "What's going on, Xiao Zhan?"

Xiao Zhan's eyes scanned the surveillance footage again. He had a feeling that this was a trap, but he couldn't ignore the possibility that the Scarlet Dragon's leader might be willing to talk.

"Tell them we'll send someone," Xiao Zhan said finally. "But make sure it's you who goes. I have a few things to take care of first."

Yang Wei's voice was hesitant. "Xiao Zhan, are you sure that's a good idea?"

Xiao Zhan's smile was cold and calculated. "Trust me, Wei. I have a plan. Just make sure you're prepared for anything."

With that, Xiao Zhan hung up the phone and began to get dressed. He had a meeting to attend, and he was going to be ready for whatever the Scarlet Dragon had in store.

As he walked out of his office, Xiao Zhan's gaze fell on the city below. The neon lights of the skyscrapers seemed to twinkle like diamonds, but he knew that beneath the surface, a deadly game of cat and mouse was already underway.

And he was the target.

But Xiao Zhan wasn't one to back down from a challenge. He was the strongest crazy warrior in the city, and he would stop at nothing to protect those he cared about.

The question was, would he be able to outsmart the Scarlet Dragon and come out on top? Or would he find himself trapped in their web of deceit and betrayal?

Only time would tell.
