第79章 "Blazing Fury Unleashed"

都市之最强狂兵

**Chapter 79: The Fallout**

The confrontation between Xiao Zhan and Shen Yi reached a boiling point. Shen Yi's eyes had turned cold and calculating, his expression a mask of restraint. Xiao Zhan's anger, however, showed no signs of abating. His face was flushed, his fists clenched, and his teeth bared in a snarl.

"You're blaming me for this?" Shen Yi repeated, his voice dripping with disdain. "You're the one who's been making decisions without consulting me, who's been going behind my back to stab me in the back. You're the one who's been hiding secrets and lying to me."

Xiao Zhan's anger faltered, and for a moment, he felt a pang of guilt. He knew he had been acting secretly, but he couldn't help the feeling that Shen Yi had been playing him all along.

"You're right," Xiao Zhan admitted, his voice low and husky. "I did make decisions without consulting you. But I did it because I knew you wouldn't understand, because I knew you'd try to stop me."

Shen Yi's eyes narrowed. "What are you talking about, Xiao Zhan? What secrets have you been hiding?"

Xiao Zhan took a deep breath, his mind racing with the consequences of what he was about to reveal. "I know that you're working with the Black Dragons," he said, the words spilling out of him like a confession. "I know that you're the one who's been feeding them information about the Red Vipers. And I know that you're the one who's been planning to take them down."

The air was thick with tension as Shen Yi's calm demeanor began to crack. His eyes flashed with anger, and his face twisted in a snarl. "How dare you!" he spat, his voice venomous. "How dare you accuse me of such a thing!"

Xiao Zhan's anger returned, fueled by the betrayal he felt. "I'm not accusing you of anything," he said coldly. "I'm telling you that I know the truth. And I know that you're not the man I thought you were."

The confrontation ended abruptly, with Shen Yi turning and storming out of the room. Xiao Zhan watched him go, his mind reeling with the consequences of what had just happened. He knew that he had lost a valuable ally, but he also knew that he had been right to distrust Shen Yi all along.

As he stood there, trying to process the fallout, a figure appeared in the doorway. It was Lin Jing, her eyes gleaming with a mixture of sadness and concern.

"What's going on, Xiao Zhan?" she asked, her voice soft and gentle.

Xiao Zhan's eyes clouded over, and he felt a pang of sadness. "Shen Yi and I had a falling out," he said, his voice heavy with emotion. "I think he's been working with the Black Dragons all along."

Lin Jing's eyes widened in shock. "What? But why?"

Xiao Zhan shrugged. "I don't know. But I think it has something to do with the Red Vipers. And I think Shen Yi is planning to take them down."

Lin Jing's expression turned grim. "We need to get to the bottom of this," she said. "We need to find out what's going on and stop it before it's too late."

Xiao Zhan nodded, his mind racing with the consequences of what had just happened. He knew that he had a lot of work ahead of him, but he was determined to get to the truth and take down Shen Yi and the Black Dragons once and for all.

And as he stood there, a plan began to form in his mind. He would take down Shen Yi and the Black Dragons, and he would do it with the help of Lin Jing and the Red Vipers. Together, they would be unstoppable.
