第61章 "The Shadow's Dark Ultimatum"

诸天万界之旅

**Chapter 61: The Shadow's Demand**

Lin Yuan's voice was barely audible, but the Shadow within the reflection seemed to lean in, its presence growing thicker and more oppressive. "What do you want from me?" Lin Yuan repeated, his eyes locked on the mirror.

The Shadow didn't respond immediately, but Lin Yuan could sense its gaze boring into him like a cold, dark blade. Then, in a voice that sent shivers down his spine, the Shadow spoke.

"You have seen the truth, Lin Yuan," it said. "You have witnessed the depths of the Reflection. Now, you must pay the price."

Lin Yuan's heart raced as he tried to process the Shadow's words. "What do you mean?" he asked, his voice shaking slightly.

The Shadow's response was immediate and cold. "You must give me something in return for the secrets you have uncovered. Something precious. Something that will allow me to grow stronger."

Lin Yuan felt a surge of fear as he realized what the Shadow was asking. He thought back to his adventures in the various worlds, to the friends he had made and the enemies he had defeated. What could he possibly have that would be worth trading for the Shadow's secrets?

As he hesitated, the Shadow's presence grew more aggressive, its darkness seeping into the room like a living entity. Lin Yuan knew he had to make a decision quickly, or risk being consumed by the Shadow's power.

"What do you want me to give you?" he asked, his voice barely above a whisper.

The Shadow's response was immediate and chilling. "I want the memories of your adventures in the Starlight World," it said. "The memories of your friends, your enemies, and your triumphs. I want to know everything about that world, and about you."

Lin Yuan's eyes widened as he realized the enormity of the Shadow's demand. He had spent so much time in the Starlight World, making friends and forging bonds with the people he had met. Could he really give up those memories, those connections, for the secrets of the Reflection?

As he struggled to make a decision, the Shadow's presence grew more intense, its darkness swirling around him like a vortex. Lin Yuan knew he had to think quickly, or risk losing everything that mattered to him.

And then, just as he was about to make a decision, the Shadow's voice cut off, and the darkness dissipated. Lin Yuan blinked, his eyes adjusting to the sudden change.

But he knew the Shadow was far from vanquished. It would return, and next time, it would demand even more from him. The question was, was Lin Yuan willing to pay the price?
