萧远的眉头皱起，诺瓦的信息让他感到不安。他Presented himself and asked, "What's going on? Why do you think the secretary is hiding something?"

诺瓦's expression turned serious, "I saw the secretary leaving a confidential meeting with a group of mercenaries. They were discussing something in hushed tones, and I could sense the tension in the air."

萧远's eyes narrowed, "Mercenaries? What are they doing here?"

诺瓦 hesitated, "I'm not sure, but I think they might be connected to the disappearances on the space station."

萧远's grip on the hilt of his sword tightened, "I need to get to the bottom of this. Let's go and investigate."

As they made their way to the meeting room, they encountered a group of heavily armed guards blocking their path.

"Turn back now, or you'll regret it," one of the guards sneered.

萧远 drew his sword, "We're not going anywhere. We have a right to know what's going on here."

The guards attacked, and lemox fought them off with ease. But as they entered the meeting room, they were met with a surprise.

The secretary was sitting at the head of the table, surrounded by the same group of mercenaries. And at the center of the table, a large holographic display was projecting a map of the galaxy, with several systems highlighted.

"Ah, lemox," the secretary said, a sly smile spreading across his face. "I've been expecting you. You see, we've discovered a... fascinating technology that could change the course of history. And we're willing to do whatever it takes to get our hands on it."

萧远's eyes widened, "What are you talking about?"

The secretary chuckled, "Oh, you'll find out soon enough. But first, let's get down to business. You see, we need someone to retrieve this technology for us. And we think you're the perfect person for the job."

萧远's grip on his sword tightened, "I'll never work for you. You're hiding something, and I'm going to find out what it is."

The secretary leaned forward, his eyes glinting with malice, "Oh, I think you will. You see, we have something that will make it very difficult for you to refuse our offer..."

As the secretary's words trailed off, the lights in the room flickered and died. The mercenaries moved in, their weapons drawn. And lemox was left standing alone, facing an uncertain future.
