铁血战王

**96章:「权力的游戏,权力之战—决战前夕」(The Game of Power, Battle for Power—Eve of the Decisive Battle)**

The tension in the room was palpable, the air thick with anticipation. Lin Hao's eyes locked onto Captain Zhang's, his mind racing with the implications of the past few hours' events. The captain's words still echoed in his mind: "You're not worthy of being a warrior."

"I understand, sir," Lin Hao said, his voice firm but laced with a hint of defiance. "But I'm not going to back down. I'll do whatever it takes to prove myself."

Captain Zhang's expression remained unyielding. "You're not listening, Lin Hao. This isn't about proving yourself. It's about eliminating the weak. And you're not strong enough."

The room fell silent once more, the weight of Captain Zhang's words crushing Lin Hao. But he refused to give up. He knew that he had to prove himself, not just for his own sake, but for the sake of his comrades.

Suddenly, the door burst open and a young officer rushed in,out of breath. "Sir, we've received a distress signal from the northern border. A group of insurgents has ambushed a patrol and is making a run for it. We need to move out immediately to prevent them from getting away."

Captain Zhang's eyes snapped towards Lin Hao. "You're going to handle this, Lin Hao. You're going to show me what you're made of."

Lin Hao's heart racing, he sprinted out of the room, his comrades falling into step alongside him. As they rushed towards the northern border, Lin Hao could feel the weight of his captain's words, the pressure to prove himself.

But he was determined to rise to the challenge. He knew that this was his chance to prove that he was more than just a weak new recruit. He was a warrior, a member of the Iron Blood Army.

As they approached the border, Lin Hao could see the insurgents' convoy, their vehicles speeding towards the border. He could hear the sound of gunfire and explosions, the chaos of battle erupting.

He took a deep breath, his heart pounding in his chest. This was it. This was his moment.

And with that, the battle began.

To be continued...
