第153章 "决战的前奏" (The Prelude to Battle)

铁血战王

**153章:「暗夜的复活」(Midnight's Revival)**

Zhao Ti's team was on the brink of collapse. They had been fighting for what felt like hours, and their bodies were screaming for rest. But they knew they couldn't afford to stop now. The enemy was closing in on them from all sides, and if they let their guard down for even a moment, they would be finished.

"Alright, men, let's go!" Zhao Ti yelled, his voice hoarse from shouting orders and curses. "We've got to keep moving! We can't let them get the upper hand!"

His team nodded, though they looked like they were about to collapse. They knew that if they didn't keep fighting, they would be overrun. And so they pressed on, their legs aching and their chests burning with exhaustion.

As they fought, Zhao Ti noticed that one of his teammates, Lin Han, was struggling. Lin's eyes were glazed over, and he was stumbling. Zhao Ti knew that Lin had been hit earlier in the battle, and now he was starting to feel the effects of his injury.

"Lin, can you keep going?" Zhao Ti asked, his voice low and urgent.

Lin nodded, though his eyes were getting glassier by the second. "Yeah, I'm okay," he slurred. "Just need to...rest for a sec..."

Zhao Ti knew that they couldn't afford to stop. He grabbed Lin's arm and pulled him forward, trying to get him to keep moving. But Lin's legs gave out, and he collapsed to the ground.

"NO!" Zhao Ti yelled, his heart racing with fear. "Lin, get up! We can't lose you now!"

But it was too late. Lin's eyes rolled back in his head, and he went still. Zhao Ti felt a sense of desperation wash over him. They were running out of time, and they were running out of men.

Just then, a figure emerged from the darkness. It was Captain Yang, their commanding officer. He was bleeding from a bullet wound in his chest, but he was still standing.

"Zhao Ti, I've got to stop him!" Captain Yang yelled, pointing to an enemy soldier who was about to take out Lin's body. "You have to keep fighting! We can't let him get away!"

Zhao Ti nodded, his heart heavy with grief. He knew that Lin was gone, but he also knew that they couldn't give up now. He grabbed his rifle and charged forward, determined to save Lin's body and get revenge for his fallen comrade.

As he fought, Zhao Ti felt a surge of adrenaline and anger. He was furious that Lin was dead, and he was determined to make the enemy pay. But deep down, he knew that he was also fighting for something more. He was fighting for his team, for his country, and for the chance to survive.

And so he kept fighting, his rifle blazing and his heart burning with rage. He knew that the outcome was far from certain, but he also knew that he would never give up. Not as long as he was still alive.
