**148章:「暗夜的血战」(Midnight's Bloody Battle)**
The fight continued, with both sides locked in a fierce struggle. Zhao Ti's team had managed to gain the upper hand, but the enemy was far from defeated. They regrouped, reloaded, and launched a counterattack.
"Take cover! We're getting flanked!" Alpha yelled, as a group of enemy soldiers emerged from the trees, firing on Zhao Ti's team from the side.
Zhao Ti quickly assessed the situation, his mind racing with strategies. He knew they couldn't hold off the enemy for much longer, not with the numbers they had.
"Fall back! We'll set up a new position and take them out!" he shouted, grabbing Alpha's arm and pulling him back towards their original position.
The team retreated, regrouping behind a thick cluster of trees. Zhao Ti quickly surveyed their surroundings, assessing their new position. They were still outnumbered, but they had a decent view of the surrounding area.
"Alright, let's get to work," Zhao Ti said, his voice calm and measured. "Alpha, start picking off those guys on the left. I'll take care of the ones on the right. The rest of you, get ready to move when I give the signal."
The team nodded, their faces set in determination. They knew they had to hold off the enemy, no matter what.
As they settled in, the battle raged on. The sound of gunfire echoed through the forest, punctuated by the occasional blast of a grenade or the scream of a wounded soldier.
Zhao Ti's team fought valiantly, taking out enemy soldiers left and right. But despite their efforts, they knew they couldn't hold off the enemy for much longer.
Just as they were starting to get worn down, a loud explosion rocked the forest. The enemy's supplies had been hit, and their fire began to slacken.
"Now's our chance," Zhao Ti said, his voice low and urgent. "Let's move out!"
The team charged forward, catching the enemy off guard. They fought their way through the wreckage of the enemy's position, taking out the remaining soldiers and securing the area.
As the dust settled, Zhao Ti stood tall, his chest heaving with exhaustion. The team had done it - they had won the battle.
But as they caught their breath, a strange sound echoed through the forest. It was a low, menacing growl, and it seemed to be getting closer.
"What was that?" Alpha asked, his voice laced with unease.
Zhao Ti's eyes narrowed. "I don't know, but I don't like it. Let's get moving, now."
The team fell in line, their senses on high alert as they moved through the forest. They knew they had to get out of there, and fast.
But as they disappeared into the trees, the growling grew louder, and Zhao Ti knew that their victory was short-lived. They were far from safe, and the darkness was closing in around them...
