第80章 "绑住我的心" (Bound to My Heart)

太古神王

**Chapter 80: The Unyielding Resolve**

The silence between Qin Wentian and Chu Ling'er was oppressive, heavy with unspoken words. The storm that had raged within them had finally begun to subside, leaving behind only a faint hint of lingering resentment. Qin Wentian's eyes, once blazing with fury, now seemed to burn with an unyielding resolve.

"I won't let you go," Qin Wentian said, his voice low and even, but laced with an undercurrent of steel. "You're mine now, Chu Ling'er. You're my everything."

Chu Ling'er's gaze narrowed, her lips curling into a sneer. "You're mad, Qin Wentian," she spat. "You think you can keep me captive forever? I'll never be yours."

Qin Wentian's smile was cold, calculated. "You're wrong, Ling'er. You'll never leave me again. Not as long as I live."

As he spoke, the air around them seemed to crackle with tension. Chu Ling'er's eyes flashed with anger, but Qin Wentian's unyielding determination was like a physical force, holding her in place.

"You're just a pawn in my game, Qin Wentian," she snarled. "I'm the one who holds the real power. And I'll use it to destroy you if you try to keep me captive."

Qin Wentian's laughter was low, menacing. "You're forgetting one thing, Ling'er. I'm the one who has the power of the heavens on my side. And I'll use it to crush you if you threaten me."

As the words left his lips, a sudden burst of divine energy erupted from Qin Wentian's body, sending Chu Ling'er flying across the room. She stumbled to her feet, her eyes blazing with fury and fear.

"You're a monster, Qin Wentian," she hissed. "But I'll never give up. I'll find a way to escape, no matter what it takes."

Qin Wentian's smile grew wider, his eyes burning with an unyielding resolve. "I'm counting on it, Ling'er. Bring it on. I'll be waiting for you."

As the words left his lips, the room seemed to fade away, leaving only the two of them, locked in a silent, deadly struggle. The fate of the world hung in the balance, and only one of them would emerge victorious.

And yet, as the darkness closed in around them, Qin Wentian's eyes seemed to gleam with a hint of uncertainty. For the first time, he wondered if he was playing with fire, if his unyielding resolve would ultimately lead to his own downfall.

But it was too late now. The die had been cast. The game was afoot. And only time would tell if Qin Wentian's unyielding resolve would prove to be his greatest strength, or his downfall.

To be continued...
