第79章 "Eye of the Storm"

太古神王

**Chapter 79: The Unrelenting Pursuit**

The silence between Qin Wentian and Chu Ling'er was oppressive, heavy with unspoken words. The storm that had raged within them had finally begun to subside, leaving only a sense of unease and tension. But for how long could this fragile peace last?

As they stood there, Qin Wentian's gaze never wavered from Chu Ling'er. He could see the turmoil brewing in her eyes, the anger and frustration that threatened to boil over at any moment. But he didn't back down, his eyes burning with an unyielding determination.

"I'll never let you go," Qin Wentian said, his voice low and even. "You're mine, Chu Ling'er. You've always been mine."

Chu Ling'er's eyes flashed with anger, her face reddening with indignation. "You're just a pawn in my game, Qin Wentian," she spat. "I'll use you to get what I want, and then I'll discard you like the trash you are."

Qin Wentian's face turned cold, his eyes glinting with a fierce light. "You'll never get what you want," he said, his voice dripping with venom. "I'll never be your pawn. I'll never be used."

The silence that followed was like a crack of thunder, the air charged with electricity. Chu Ling'er's eyes seemed to bore into Qin Wentian's soul, as if searching for something that only he knew.

But Qin Wentian stood firm, his resolve unshaken. He knew that he couldn't back down now, not when he'd come so far. He had to push through the pain and the suffering, and come out stronger on the other side.

And so, with a fierce cry, Qin Wentian launched himself at Chu Ling'er, his fists flying in a blur of anger and determination. Chu Ling'er laughed, a cold, mirthless sound, and met him blow for blow.

The two of them clashed, their bodies weaving and bobbing as they exchanged blow after blow. The air was filled with the sound of punches and kicks, the smell of sweat and blood hanging heavy over them.

But Qin Wentian refused to give up, his will unbroken despite the pain and the suffering. He knew that he had to push through, no matter what it took.

And so, with a fierce roar, he launched himself forward, his fists flying in a blur of anger and determination. The outcome was far from certain, but one thing was clear: only one of them would emerge victorious.
