**Chapter 68: The Crack of Doubt**

Lin Feng's eyes scanned the court, his mind racing with the weight of Coach Wang's words. He had never felt so uncertain about his game before. The doubts that had crept in had taken hold, and he couldn't shake them off.

"Hey, Lin Feng, what's wrong?" asked Chen Hao, noticing the intensity on his teammate's face.

Lin Feng forced a smile. "Just trying to focus, you know?"

Chen Hao nodded. "Yeah, I get it. But you're usually so calm and collected. What's going on?"

Lin Feng hesitated, unsure how to share his concerns. But Chen Hao's genuine concern infectious, and he found himself opening up.

"Honestly, Hao, I've been feeling really pressured lately. Coach Wang's words kept playing in my head, and I'm starting to wonder if I'm good enough to lead the team to victory."

Chen Hao's expression turned serious. "Lin Feng, you're the best player on the team. Your skills are unmatched, and your leadership has always inspired us. But I understand what you mean. Pressure can be overwhelming. We all feel it."

Lin Feng sighed, feeling a weight lift off his shoulders. "Thanks, Hao. Just talking to you makes me feel better. But I still need to get this doubt out of my head."

Just then, the team's captain, Wang Shuo, strode onto the court, his eyes scanning the players.

"Alright, let's focus on our passing drills," he announced. "We need to work on our teamwork if we want to win the CBA championship."

Lin Feng's doubts resurfaced as he watched Wang Shuo, feeling a pang of jealousy. Why couldn't he be the captain? Didn't he deserve the recognition?

As the practice continued, Lin Feng's frustration grew. He started to make mistakes, and his teammates' eyes began to linger on him. The tension on the court was palpable, and Lin Feng knew he needed to snap out of it.

Just as he was about to make a move to correct his mistake, a sudden commotion erupted from the sidelines. Coach Wang stormed onto the court, his face red with rage.

"What's going on here?" he thundered, his eyes blazing with fury.

The team froze, unsure what to do. Lin Feng's heart sank as he realized that Coach Wang's temper was about to boil over.

And then, just as suddenly, the coach's anger dissipated, replaced by a calculating gaze.

"Lin Feng, come here," he said, his voice low and menacing.

Lin Feng's stomach twisted as he walked over to Coach Wang, sensing that his doubts were about to take a devastating turn.

"What's going on, Coach?" he asked, trying to keep his voice steady.

Coach Wang's eyes narrowed. "You think you're good enough to lead this team to victory? You think you're better than Wang Shuo?"

Lin Feng felt a cold sweat trickle down his spine. "Coach, I—"

But Coach Wang cut him off. "I don't want to hear it, Lin Feng. You're going to find out what it means to be a true leader. You're going to find out what it means to be part of this team."

And with that, Coach Wang turned and stormed off the court, leaving Lin Feng stunned and shaken.

As the team dispersed, Lin Feng couldn't shake off the feeling that his world was about to come crashing down. The doubts that had crept in had taken hold, and he knew that his future on the team was hanging by a thread.
