**Chapter 66: The Crack of Doubt**
The team's practices had become more intense and disciplined since Coach Wang's visit. Lin Feng, usually the pillar of confidence, couldn't shake off the feeling of unease that had settled in his stomach. His teammates seemed to be experiencing the same doubts, their usually enthusiastic banter and jokes replaced by serious discussions about the upcoming games.
As Lin Feng walked into the locker room, he was greeted by the sound of his teammates' murmurs and whispers. Coach Wang's words still lingered in their minds, echoing the fear of failure and the weight of expectations. Lin Feng took a deep breath, trying to gather his composure. He needed to lead by example, to show his teammates that he was still the same confident player who had led them to victory over Olympus.
Just as Lin Feng was about to address the team, Zhang Tao, the team's star point guard, approached him. "Feng, I'm having some doubts," Zhang Tao said, his voice low and serious. "Coach Wang's words really got to me. What if we're not good enough? What if we blow it again?"
Lin Feng's expression remained calm, but his mind was racing. He knew that Zhang Tao was a key player, and if he was doubting himself, the entire team would be affected. "Tao, you're one of our strongest players," Lin Feng said, trying to reassure him. "We've worked hard to get to this point. Trust yourself, trust us, and we'll get through this."
Zhang Tao nodded, but Lin Feng could sense the doubts still lingering in his eyes. Just then, Wang Wei, the team's power forward, burst into the locker room, looking upset. "What's going on, guys?" he asked, his voice laced with worry. "I just saw Coach Wang arguing with the school administrator. I don't know what's happening, but it looks serious."
The room fell silent, and Lin Feng's heart began to race. What was going on? Why was Coach Wang arguing with the school administrator? The tension was palpable, and Lin Feng knew that their entire season could be at stake.
"Guys, we need to focus on the game, not rumors and speculation," Lin Feng said, trying to regain his teammates' attention. "We have a big game coming up, and we need to be ready. Let's focus on our training, and we'll worry about the rest later."
But as the team began to disperse, Lin Feng couldn't shake off the feeling that their world was about to be turned upside down. What was Coach Wang hiding? And what did it have to do with their chances of winning the championship?
As Lin Feng walked out of the locker room, he noticed a figure waiting for him outside. It was Coach Chen, the school's athletic director, looking grim-faced. "Lin Feng, can I talk to you for a minute?" he asked, his voice low and serious.
Lin Feng's instincts told him that this conversation was going to change everything.
