Jaxon's eyes burned with a fierce intensity as he stood frozen in the empty hall, the betrayal Lin Feng had just inflicted still echoing through his mind like a siren's call. He felt like he was drowning in a sea of emotions, his heart heavy with the weight of Lin Feng's treachery.
