**Chapter 128: The Devil's Terms**

Lin Feng's eyes narrowed as he gazed at Wen Xiyue, trying to decipher the depths of his intentions. "What are the terms of this 'devil's bargain'?" he asked, his voice laced with a hint of trepidation.

Wen Xiyue's smile only grew wider, his eyes glinting with a sinister light. "Ah, the terms. Well, let's just say it's a small price to pay for the chance to become the greatest basketball player of all time."

Lin Feng's gut twisted with unease. What could Wen Xiyue possibly be offering that would make him willing to make such a Faustian bargain? "What do you want from me?" he demanded, his voice firming up.

Wen Xiyue leaned forward, his eyes burning with intensity. "I want you to do one thing for me, Lin Feng. Just one thing. And in return, I'll give you the power to dominate the court like no one else can."

Lin Feng's mind raced as he tried to process Wen Xiyue's words. What could this "one thing" be? And what kind of power was he talking about? He hesitated for a moment before asking, "What is it?"

Wen Xiyue's expression turned cold and calculating. "I want you to lose a game. Just one game. And not just any game. I want you to lose to the worst team in the league. The one that's been struggling for years, the one that's been written off by everyone."

Lin Feng's eyes widened in shock. "You want me to throw a game? Are you insane?"

Wen Xiyue's smile returned, wider than ever. "Let's just say I have a... vested interest in the outcome. And I'm willing to do whatever it takes to make sure it happens. So, Lin Feng, are you in?"

Lin Feng's gut churned with indecision. Part of him knew that accepting Wen Xiyue's proposal would be a betrayal of everything he stood for as a basketball player. But another part of him was tempted by the promise of power and dominance on the court. He looked up at Wen Xiyue, his eyes locked in a fierce stare.

"Okay," he said finally, his voice barely above a whisper. "I'm in."

Wen Xiyue's smile grew even wider. "Excellent. I knew you'd see things my way. Now, let's get down to business. We have a lot of work to do if we're going to make this happen."

And with that, Lin Feng's fate was sealed. He had just made a deal with the devil himself, and he had no idea what kind of hell he was about to unleash upon the basketball world.
