Chen Yang's eyes never wavered, his gaze piercing through the girl's veil of secrets. "You're not telling me everything, are you?" he accused, his voice low and menacing.

The girl's eyes fluttered closed, as if seeking refuge from the truth. "Leave me alone, Chen Yang," she whispered, her voice trembling.

"What's going on?" Chen Yang demanded, his hand tightening on the girl's arm.

The leader of the swordsmen, a tall and imposing figure, stepped forward. "We've received a message from the Sword Emperor himself. You, Chen Yang, are accused of treason and have been summoned to the imperial court."

Chen Yang's eyes narrowed. "What's the meaning of this?"

The swordman's face remained expressionless. "You'll find out when you arrive at the court. Come quietly, or face the consequences."

Chen Yang's grip on the girl's arm relaxed, his eyes locked on hers. "It seems our little conversation will have to wait. For now, I have more pressing matters to attend to."

The girl's eyes flashed with a mix of anger and fear as Chen Yang pulled her out of the room, leaving the swordsmen to follow.
