第150章 "A Sword's True Purpose"

剑道独尊

**150章: Swordsmen's Dilemma**

Lin Feng's eyes narrowed as he listened to Chenyang's words. He had never thought about the true meaning of being a Swordsmen before. Was it really about personal gain or desire? He couldn't help but feel a sense of unease, as if the foundation of his entire existence had been shaken.

"Go on," Lin Feng said, his voice slightly softer.

Chenyang's expression remained calm. "As Swordsmen, our duty is to maintain peace and protect people's lives. We must use our skills for the greater good, not for personal gain or to satisfy our own desires."

Lin Feng's eyes flashed with anger again. "You're saying that I, a Swordsmen, have been doing everything wrong?"

Chenyang shook his head. "No, Lin Feng. You have been a great Swordsmen. But I'm saying that you have the potential to be even greater. Don't let your emotions cloud your judgment. Remember, a Swordsmen is not just a warrior, but a guardian of justice."

Lin Feng's face twisted in frustration. "Easy for you to say, Chenyang. You're not the one who has been fighting for survival since birth. You're not the one who has been hurt by others."

Chenyang's expression turned sorrowful. "I know it's hard, Lin Feng. But that's why I'm here to guide you. To help you see that there's a better way. A way that doesn't involve hurting others or seeking revenge."

Just then, a loud commotion echoed through the mountainside, causing Lin Feng's eyes to snap back to attention. He drew his sword, his instincts screaming at him to be prepared.

"It seems like we have company," Chenyang said, his eyes scanning the horizon.

As they watched, a group of figures emerged from the mist, their faces twisted with malice. Lin Feng's instincts told him that they were not here to make friends.

"Who are they?" Lin Feng growled, his sword at the ready.

Chenyang's expression turned grim. "I'm not sure, but I think they're connected to the Swordsmen's internal conflicts. They're probably here to take advantage of the situation and cause chaos."

Lin Feng's eyes locked onto Chenyang's. "What do we do?"

Chenyang's voice was firm. "We protect ourselves and others. We defend our honor and our way of life."

The two Swordsmen stood ready, their swords flashing in the fading light of day. The battle ahead was uncertain, but one thing was clear: the fate of the Swordsmen's world would be decided in this moment.

As the darkness closed in, Lin Feng felt a surge of determination. He knew that he had to make a choice - to follow his own desires or to follow the path of justice. But as he looked at Chenyang, he knew that he couldn't do it alone.

And with that thought, the battle began.

To be continued...
