第66章 " Loyalty Tested in Battle"

都市之最强狂兵

**Chapter 66: The Crisis of Loyalty**

The battle was reaching its climax, with the three allies starting to gain the upper hand. Lin Qingxue's gun was still blazing, taking down enemy after enemy with precision and skill. Cheng Wei's martial arts skills were also in full display, taking down multiple opponents with swift and deadly efficiency. Mr. Ling, meanwhile, was using his vast martial arts knowledge to take down opponents with his bare hands.

But just as it seemed like they were about to emerge victorious, a voice echoed through the compound, making the hairs on the back of their necks stand on end.

"Hold your fire!" the voice commanded.

The three allies turned to see Zhang Wei's younger brother, Zhang Xin, standing before them, a cold and calculating glint in his eye.

"What do you think you're doing?" Lin Qingxue asked, her gun still trained on Zhang Xin.

"I'm putting a stop to this senseless slaughter," Zhang Xin replied, his voice dripping with venom.

Cheng Wei's eyes narrowed. "You're just trying to protect your family's interests, aren't you?"

Zhang Xin's smile grew wider. "You're right. And I'll do whatever it takes to protect them."

Mr. Ling's eyes flashed with anger. "You're a traitor, Zhang Xin. You're supposed to be an ally, not a foe."

Zhang Xin shrugged. "Loyalty is just a word. It's what gets you ahead in this world."

The three allies exchanged a look, their faces grim with determination.

"We can't trust him," Lin Qingxue said. "We have to take him down."

"Agreed," Cheng Wei said, his voice firm.

"But how do we take him down without hurting other innocent people?" Mr. Ling asked, his brow furrowed in concern.

Lin Qingxue's eyes locked onto Zhang Xin's. "We don't. We take him down without firing a shot."

And with that, the three allies charged forward, determined to take down Zhang Xin and put an end to the chaos. But would they be able to do it without hurting anyone else? Only time would tell.

As they clashed with Zhang Xin, the sound of gunfire and explosions filled the air once more. This was it - the crisis of loyalty. Who would come out on top? Only one thing was certain - only one of them would walk away from this battle alive.

To be continued...
