重生之都市仙尊
**84th Chapter: The Storm Before the Calm**
Jiang Wanshan's eyes gleamed with anticipation as he watched Lin Qingxue's turmoil. He knew her too well, and he knew that her fury would soon give way to a desire for revenge. But he was ready for her.
"You're so predictable, Qingxue," Jiang Wanshan repeated, his voice dripping with sarcasm. "You think you can take me down with your anger and your skills? You're just a pawn in a much larger game."
Lin Qingxue's face contorted in a mixture of rage and despair. "You're playing with fire, Jiang Wanshan!" she spat, her voice trembling with fury. "You'll pay for what you've done to me!"
Jiang Wanshan chuckled, his eyes never leaving hers. "Oh, I'm shaking in my boots. But I'm not the one who's going to be burned. You are."
Without another word, Jiang Wanshan turned and walked away, leaving Lin Qingxue seething with anger. But she knew that she couldn't let her emotions get the better of her. She had to think strategically.
As she watched Jiang Wanshan disappear into the crowd, Lin Qingxue's mind began to turn. She knew that she needed to gather her strength and her allies before she could take on Jiang Wanshan once again. But she also knew that she couldn't do it alone. She needed someone to help her, someone who could provide her with the strength and the support she needed.
And so, Lin Qingxue set her sights on the one person who could help her: Zhang Wei. She knew that he was a powerful figure, with connections and resources that could aid her in her quest for revenge. But she also knew that he was a ruthless and cunning man, who would stop at nothing to get what he wanted. And so, she knew that she had to tread carefully.
As she made her way to Zhang Wei's estate, Lin Qingxue's mind was racing with possibilities. She knew that she had to be careful, but she also knew that she had to be bold. She had to take risks and seize opportunities as they presented themselves. And so, she was prepared to do whatever it took to get what she wanted.
But as she approached Zhang Wei's estate, Lin Qingxue was met with a surprise. The gates were closed, and the guards were standing outside, their faces stern and unyielding. Lin Qingxue knew that something was wrong.
"Who are you?" one of the guards asked, his voice firm and unyielding.
"I'm here to see Zhang Wei," Lin Qingxue replied, her voice steady and confident.
The guard looked at her skeptically. "I'm afraid that's impossible," he said. "Zhang Wei is not seeing visitors today."
Lin Qingxue's heart sank. She knew that something was wrong. She knew that Zhang Wei was hiding something, and she was determined to find out what it was.
And so, Lin Qingxue made a decision. She would not leave until she saw Zhang Wei. She would not be deterred by the guards or by the closed gates. She would find a way to get in, no matter what it took.
As she stood outside the gates, Lin Qingxue's mind was racing with possibilities. She knew that she had to be careful, but she also knew that she had to be bold. She had to take risks and seize opportunities as they presented themselves. And so, she was prepared to do whatever it took to get what she wanted.
But as she stood there, ready to face whatever lay ahead, Lin Qingxue felt a sudden chill run down her spine. She knew that she was not alone. She could sense someone watching her, someone who was waiting for her to make her move.
