第73章 "Whispers in the Dark"

一念永恒

**Chapter 73: The Abyssal Oracle**

As the whispers grew louder, White Xiaopu felt his body begin to tremble. He tried to focus on the voices, but they seemed to be speaking in a language he couldn't understand. Suddenly, a figure materialized before him, its presence causing the whispers to cease.

The figure was a woman with skin as pale as moonlight and hair as black as the night sky. Her eyes seemed to hold a deep wisdom, and her voice was like a gentle breeze on a summer's day. "Welcome, White Xiaopu," she said, her words dripping with an otherworldly gravity. "I have been waiting for you."

White Xiaopu's mind reeled as he tried to process the woman's words. "Who are you?" he demanded, trying to keep his voice steady.

"I am the Oracle of the Abyss," she replied, her eyes glinting with a hint of mischief. "And you, young one, are a guest in my domain."

As she spoke, the darkness around them began to swirl and churn, as if the very fabric of reality was being manipulated. White Xiaopu felt his heart racing with excitement and fear. "What do you want from me?" he asked, his voice barely above a whisper.

The Oracle smiled, her lips curling upwards like a crescent moon. "I want to show you the secrets of the Abyss," she said, her eyes gleaming with an otherworldly intensity. "And in return, you will pay a price that will change your life forever."

White Xiaopu hesitated, unsure of what to say. But the Oracle's words had already sparked a fire within him, a flame that threatened to consume him. "I'm willing to take the risk," he said, his voice firm.

The Oracle's smile grew wider, and she reached out a pale hand to touch his forehead. "Then let us begin," she said, her voice low and husky.

As her hand made contact with his skin, White Xiaopu felt a jolt of electricity course through his body. The darkness around him seemed to deepen, and he felt himself being pulled towards some unknown destination.

"Wait!" he cried out, trying to resist the force that was pulling him away. But it was too late. The Oracle's grip was like a vice, and he was being dragged into the heart of the Abyss.

As he disappeared into the darkness, the Oracle's laughter echoed through the chamber, a sound that sent shivers down White Xiaopu's spine. He knew that he had just made a deal with a force beyond his comprehension, and that his life would never be the same again.

And as the darkness closed in around him, White Xiaopu realized that he was not alone. A figure was emerging from the shadows, a figure that seemed to be made of the very fabric of the Abyss itself. Its eyes burned with an otherworldly intensity, and its voice was like a rusty gate creaking open.

"You should not have come here," it growled, its voice like a challenge.

White Xiaopu's heart skipped a beat as he faced the new arrival. He knew that he had to act fast, or risk being consumed by the Abyss forever. "Who are you?" he demanded, trying to keep his voice steady.

But the figure did not answer. Instead, it raised a hand, and a blast of energy shot towards White Xiaopu like a bolt of lightning. He tried to dodge, but it was too late. The energy enveloped him, and everything went dark.

As the darkness closed in, White Xiaopu realized that he had just received a message from the unknown, a message that would change the course of his destiny forever. And as the abyssal whispers began to echo in his mind, he knew that he had to find a way to escape, before it was too late...
