一念永恒

**Chapter 71: The Abyssal Whisper**

As the warmth spread through his body, White Xiaopu's consciousness began to clear. He found himself standing in a vast, dark chamber, surrounded by the whispers of the abyss. The air was thick with the scent of decay and corruption, and the ground beneath his feet was spongy and cold.

"Where am I?" White Xiaopu whispered, his voice trembling with fear.

A figure emerged from the shadows, its face twisted into a grotesque grin. "Ah, the little sword master," it said, its voice like a rusty gate. "I've been waiting for you."

White Xiaopu's hand instinctively went to the hilt of the Ghost-Taming Sword, but his grip was loose and unconfident. The figure chuckled, its eyes glinting with malevolence.

"Don't bother drawing your sword," it said. "You won't be needing it."

White Xiaopu's mind raced with questions. Who was this creature, and why was it speaking with such certainty? And what did it mean by "You won't be needing it"?

As he hesitated, the figure took a step closer, its grin growing wider. "You're in the Abyss of Eternal Silence," it said. "And you're not alone."

Suddenly, the darkness around them began to ripple and distort, as if the very fabric of reality was unraveling. White Xiaopu's heart skipped a beat as a figure emerged from the shadows, its face a mirror image of the twisted grin.

"Ah, my dear brother," the new figure said, its voice a perfect echo of the first. "I see you've found our little guest."

White Xiaopu's eyes darted back and forth, his mind reeling with confusion. Brother? Guest? What was happening?

The first figure chuckled again, its grin growing even wider. "Yes, you're in a bit of a pickle, aren't you?"

As the two figures continued to speak, their voices weaving in and out of each other like a macabre dance, White Xiaopu's grip on the Ghost-Taming Sword began to tighten. He knew he had to get out of this abyss, but how?

And as the whispers of the abyss grew louder, White Xiaopu's heart screamed with a single, desperate thought: What secrets lay hidden in the depths of this eternal silence?

As the chapter ended, White Xiaopu found himself trapped in a maze of darkness, with no clear path to escape. The whispers of the abyss seemed to be closing in around him, and he knew that he had to find a way out before it was too late...
