As White Xiaopu's anger reached its peak, a sudden realization struck him. He had been so blinded by his rage that he had forgotten one crucial detail. The figure before him, the one who had betrayed him, was none other than his own brother, Bai Xiaoming.

The air seemed to freeze as White Xiaopu's mind reeled in shock. He took a step back, his eyes fixed on his brother's face, searching for any sign of remorse. But Bai Xiaoming's expression remained calm, almost...amused.

"You're surprised?" Bai Xiaoming chuckled. "I thought you'd figure it out eventually. After all, I'm the one who's been hiding the truth from you all along."

White Xiaopu's anger began to simmer down, replaced by a growing sense of unease. "Why, Bai Xiaoming? Why would you do this to me?"

Bai Xiaoming shrugged. "You're too weak, Xiaopu. You'll never amount to anything if you stick with that pitiful cultivator, Lin Feng. I'm giving you a chance to join me, to become strong, to become someone worthy of respect."

The words stung, but White Xiaopu refused to give in. "I'd rather die than betray Lin Feng," he spat, his voice filled with conviction.

Bai Xiaoming snorted. "You're not even a worthy opponent. Fine, be that way. But know this: I'm not going to hold back. I'll crush you, and no one will interfere."

With that, Bai Xiaoming raised his hand, and a dark, swirling energy began to form around him. White Xiaopu's eyes widened as he realized that his brother had been hiding an incredible amount of power.

But just as all hope seemed lost, a burst of light illuminated the dark energy, dispelling it. A figure appeared, standing between Bai Xiaoming and White Xiaopu.

"Lin Feng!" White Xiaopu exclaimed, a mix of relief and worry washing over him.

Lin Feng's eyes narrowed. "Bai Xiaoming, what's going on here?"

Bai Xiaoming sneered. "You're meddling in affairs that don't concern you, Lin Feng. This is between me and my brother."

Lin Feng's gaze flickered to White Xiaopu, then back to Bai Xiaoming. "I'll not stand idly by while you harm those I care about. Let's settle this once and for all."
