"Left flank, take cover!" Zhao Jium's voice was urgent as he spotted a group of heavily armed mercenaries emerging from the shadows. Lin Hao swiftly dropped to the ground, his eyes locked on the doorway as he squeezed off quick shots to keep the enemy at bay.

The team's cover fire was intense, but the mercenaries were relentless, pouring in round after round of gunfire. Zhao Jium's men were taking heavy casualties, and their position was becoming increasingly precarious.

"Hold your fire, we need to break through!" Lin Hao yelled, as he swiftly reloaded his rifle. "Jium, we need to get out of here, now!"

Zhao Jium's response was a fierce determination etched on his face. "Not without completing our mission!" he shouted back, as he led the charge towards the mercenaries.

The two forces clashed in a frenzy of gunfire and screams, with Lin Hao and Zhao Jium fighting side by side. They managed to take down a few mercenaries, but the rest seemed to come out of nowhere, relentless in their pursuit.

Just as it seemed like all was lost, a burst of gunfire from the corridor entrance caught the mercenaries off guard. A group of heavily armed special forces troops, led by a grizzled veteran, stormed into the fray, taking down the mercenaries with ruthless efficiency.

"Thank God!" Lin Hao breathed, as he scrambled to his feet. "We owe you one, friend!"

The veteran, a grizzled old soldier named Zhang, grinned wryly. "No problem, kid. We've been tracking these mercenaries for weeks. You're welcome to join us for the rest of the op."

Zhao Jium's eyes narrowed. "What op?"

Zhang's grin grew wider. "The operation to take down the infamous 'Dragon's Claw' gang. Rumor has it they're hiding in the city, waiting to strike. We've got intel that says they're planning a major heist tonight. We need to get there before they do."

Lin Hao's eyes lit up. "Count me in. We can't let them get away with it."

Zhao Jium's jaw clenched. "We won't. Let's move out."

As the two teams prepared to take on the Dragon's Claw gang, the fate of their mission, and their very lives, hung precariously in the balance...
