**116章:「权力的游戏,权力之战—暗夜的秘密」(The Game of Power, Battle for Power—Midnight Secrets)**

Zhao Tianxiong's mind was still reeling from Captain Zhang's enigmatic words when the alarm blared, signaling the start of the new day. He quickly sprang into action, joining his fellow soldiers for breakfast and a series of rigorous exercises. The intensity of the training was taking its toll, but Zhao Tianxiong was determined to prove himself.

As the day wore on, he noticed a peculiar conversation between Captain Zhang and one of the senior officers, Colonel Li. They stood whispering in a corner, their faces grave and serious. Zhao Tianxiong's curiosity got the better of him, and he sidled closer to listen in.

"...can't be sure, but it's a possibility..." Colonel Li was saying.

"I know what I saw, sir," Captain Zhang replied, his voice laced with unease. "And I'll do whatever it takes to uncover the truth."

Zhao Tianxiong's ears perked up at the mention of "the truth." What secrets were they discussing? He continued to eavesdrop, his heart racing with the thrill of the unknown.

Just then, Captain Zhang spotted him and strode over. "Tianxiong, what are you doing?"

Zhao Tianxiong feigned innocence, trying to play it cool. "Just curious, sir. What's going on?"

Captain Zhang shot him a piercing look. "Remember, what you hear in this camp stays in this camp. You understand?"

Zhao Tianxiong nodded hastily, his heart sinking. He had overstepped, and now he was in trouble.

As the day drew to a close, Zhao Tianxiong couldn't shake off the feeling that something was amiss. He paced back and forth in his bunk, trying to make sense of the cryptic conversation. Suddenly, he heard a faint rustling sound coming from the shadows.

His instincts told him to investigate, and he crept out of his bunk, his eyes scanning the darkness. That was when he saw it – a small piece of paper, slipped under his bunk. He picked it up, and his heart skipped a beat as he recognized the handwriting.

The message was simple yet ominous: "Meet me at the old oak tree at midnight. Come alone."

Zhao Tianxiong's mind reeled as he wondered who could have sent the note and what they wanted from him. The game of power was far from over, and he was about to become a pawn in a much larger game.

As he stood there, frozen with uncertainty, the darkness seemed to close in around him, and he knew that he had to make a choice. Would he follow the mysterious message, or would he play it safe and ignore it? The fate of his fellow soldiers, and perhaps even the entire camp, hung in the balance.

And with that, the night of secrets had begun...
