第122章 "Storm's Fury Unleashed"

太古神王

**Chapter 122: The Eye of the Tempest - Reckoning**

The aftermath of the storm left the city in shambles. Buildings lay in ruins, and the streets were littered with debris. The citizens, who had initially fled in terror, were now beginning to emerge from their hiding places, surveying the damage.

Qin Wentian, who had been the epicenter of the storm, stood tall amidst the wreckage. His eyes, still blazing with fury, scanned the horizon, ensuring that no threats remained. Once satisfied, he turned to face the citizens, his gaze piercing.

"You should have stayed away," he growled, his voice low and menacing. "This is not a place for the weak."

The citizens cowered, intimidated by Qin Wentian's ferocity. However, one individual, a young woman with a determined look on her face, stepped forward.

"You may have power, Qin Wentian," she said, her voice steady, "but you also have a responsibility. You can't just destroy everything in your path."

Qin Wentian's gaze locked onto the woman, his eyes narrowing. "And who are you to tell me what I can and cannot do?" he sneered.

"I am the representative of the city council," she replied, her voice firm. "And I demand that you stop this destruction and help us rebuild."

Qin Wentian snorted in derision. "You want me to stop? You think I can stop? I am the storm, and this city is nothing but a mere pawn in my game."

The woman's eyes flashed with anger, but she refused to back down. "You may think you're the storm, Qin Wentian, but you're not invincible. And you will pay for what you've done."

Qin Wentian's expression turned cold, his eyes glinting with malevolence. "I'll pay for what I've done?" he repeated, his voice dripping with sarcasm. "Or perhaps I'll make you pay instead."

With that, he raised his hand, and a bolt of energy shot towards the woman. She tried to dodge, but it was too late. The energy struck her, sending her crashing to the ground.

The citizens gasped in shock, and Qin Wentian's eyes gleamed with satisfaction. "You see, I'm not just a storm. I'm the master of the tempest, and no one can stop me."

But just as Qin Wentian was about to deliver the finishing blow, a figure appeared on the horizon. It was a man, tall and imposing, with eyes that blazed like stars.

"Qin Wentian," he called out, his voice like thunder. "You may think you're the master of the tempest, but you're not the only one who can wield its power."

Qin Wentian's gaze snapped towards the newcomer, his eyes narrowing. "Who are you?" he demanded.

"I am the one who will stop you," the man replied, his eyes burning with intensity. "And I will not rest until you've paid for your crimes."

With that, the man charged towards Qin Wentian, his fists glowing with energy. Qin Wentian grinned, his eyes flashing with excitement. This was going to be fun.

And so, the battle began, with the storm raging on and the fate of the city hanging in the balance. Who would emerge victorious? Only time would tell.
