The engineer's eyes never left 程星's face, his brow furrowed in concern. "He wants to meet us at the old observatory tonight," he said, his voice low and gravelly. "Says it's urgent."

程星's expression remained neutral, but his mind was racing. What could this mysterious caller want? And who was he, exactly? He pushed the questions aside for now, focusing on the present.

"Okay, we'll be there," 程星 said finally, his voice firm. "But we need to be careful. What if this is another trap?"

The engineer's gaze lingered on his face, his eyes betraying a deep unease. "I don't think so," he said slowly. "The guy sounds... sincere. And he claims to have information that could change everything."

程星's heart skipped a beat. This was getting more complicated by the minute. He turned to the engineer, his eyes locking onto his. "What kind of information?"

The engineer hesitated, glancing around the room as if ensuring they were alone. "He says he's found a way to communicate with the aliens," he whispered. "And he claims it's the key to saving humanity."
