Lin Feng walked out of the dormitory, his mind still reeling from the stormy night's events. Wu Shaohua's betrayal had left him feeling betrayed and hurt. He couldn't believe that his best friend, his partner on and off the court, could turn against him like that.

As he walked towards the campus gates, he noticed a familiar figure waiting for him. It was Chen Hao, the captain of their school's basketball team. Lin Feng's instincts told him that something was off about Chen Hao's calm demeanor.

"What's going on, Hao?" Lin Feng asked, his tone laced with suspicion.

"Just wanted to talk to you about the team's chances in the upcoming tournament," Chen Hao replied, his eyes avoiding Lin Feng's gaze.

Lin Feng raised an eyebrow. "What's there to talk about? We've been practicing hard, and I'm confident we can make it to the finals."

Chen Hao nodded. "Of course, Feng, you've always been the team's star player. But...there's something you should know."

Lin Feng's heart began to race. "What is it?"

"Coach Li has been acting strange lately," Chen Hao said, his voice low. "He's been making some...questionable decisions on the court. I think he might be hiding something."

Lin Feng's eyes narrowed. "What do you mean?"

"I've noticed that he's been giving our opponents a lot of favorable calls during games," Chen Hao continued. "It's like he's trying to throw us off. And yesterday, during our practice game, he benched you for no reason. I think he's trying to sabotage your chances of winning."

Lin Feng's anger boiled over. "That's ridiculous! Coach Li would never do something like that."

Chen Hao shook his head. "I know it sounds wild, but I've seen it with my own eyes, Feng. And I think you should know about it before it's too late."

Just then, a gust of wind blew through the campus gates, carrying with it the sound of Coach Li's booming voice. "Attention, students! I have an important announcement to make!"

Lin Feng's instincts told him that something was about to go down. He glanced at Chen Hao, who gave him a solemn nod.

"Let's go," Lin Feng said, his determination fiery. "I'm not going to let Coach Li or anyone else get in the way of our team's success."
