Chen Beixuan's body began to glow with an intense, golden light as the energy of the Universal Seal coursed through him. The air around him seemed to distort, as if reality itself was bending to accommodate the surge of power.

"Ha! This is it! The key to unlocking the secrets of the Nine-Star Celestial Body!" Chen Beixuan exclaimed, his eyes blazing with excitement.

But his triumph was short-lived. A figure emerged from the shadows, its eyes fixed on Chen Beixuan with an unnerving intensity.

"Ah, the little genius thinks he can unlock the secrets of the Nine-Star Celestial Body?" a cold, mocking voice echoed through the chamber. "I'm afraid that's not possible, Chen Beixuan. At least, not without going through me first."

Chen Beixuan's gaze flickered towards the newcomer, his hand tightening around the pedestal. "Who are you?" he demanded, his voice steady.

The figure stepped forward, its features illuminated by the flickering torches. It was a woman, her skin as white as snow, her hair as black as night. Her eyes seemed to bore into Chen Beixuan's very soul, filling him with a sense of unease.

"I am the Matriarch of the White Lotus Sect," she announced, her voice dripping with condescension. "And I will not let you claim the secrets of the Nine-Star Celestial Body without a fight."

Chen Beixuan's eyes narrowed. "You think you can stop me?" he sneered.

The Matriarch smiled, her lips curling upwards in a cruel smile. "Oh, I'm not just going to stop you. I'm going to make you suffer. You see, Chen Beixuan, I have a little... insurance policy. Something that will ensure your failure, no matter how hard you try."

Chen Beixuan's grip on the pedestal tightened, his mind racing with the implications. What could the Matriarch possibly have planned? And how could he possibly stop her?
