第20章:秘密的争夺

林正明和林清雪 stare at the small stone in Chen Beixuan's hand, their eyes filled with confusion and curiosity. "What is this?" Lin Qingxue asked, her brow furrowed.

"I don't know," Chen Beixuan replied, his voice calm, "but it seems to be emitting a strange aura. I found it in the ancient tomb, hidden among the treasures."

Lin Zhengming's eyes narrowed. "This aura... it's not ordinary. It might be connected to the Nine Star Body Secret."

Suddenly, the atmosphere in the room shifted. Lin Qingxue's eyes widened, while Lin Zhengming's expression turned grave. "You mean it's a relic from the ancient times?" he asked, his voice low.

Chen Beixuan nodded. "Yes. I'm not sure what it does, but I have a feeling it's crucial to understanding the Nine Star Body Secret."

As they continued to discuss the stone, the tension in the room grew. Lin Qingxue's face was pale, while Lin Zhengming's eyes burned with an intense focus. It was clear that they were all thinking of the same thing - the stone's connection to the Nine Star Body Secret.

Just then, a soft knock at the door interrupted the conversation. Lin Qingxue's eyes darted to the door, then back to Chen Beixuan. "Who could that be?" she whispered.

Chen Beixuan shrugged. "I don't know, but I think we should find out."

Lin Zhengming's eyes flashed with warning, but it was too late. The door opened, and a figure slipped inside.

It was Lin Mansion's head of security, Li Chang. His face was stern, his eyes cold. "Master Zhengming, I've been sent to inform you that there's been a development regarding the upcoming tournament."

Lin Zhengming's eyes narrowed. "What kind of development?"

Li Chang's expression remained neutral. "Rumors are circulating that Lin Qingxue has been seen training with an unknown cultivator. If this information gets out, it could damage Lin Mansion's reputation and jeopardize our chances in the tournament."

Lin Qingxue's face turned bright red, while Lin Zhengming's eyes turned hot with anger. "Who is this unknown cultivator?" he growled.

Li Chang hesitated. "I don't know, sir. But I suspect it might be... Dragon Dust."

The room fell silent, the only sound the soft crackling of the stone in Chen Beixuan's hand. Lin Qingxue's eyes met Lin Zhengming's, and for a moment, it seemed like the fate of Lin Mansion hung in the balance.

As the tension built, the air seemed to vibrate with anticipation. What secrets lay hidden behind the stone? And what did Li Chang's words portend for Lin Qingxue and Dragon Dust?

To be continued...
