Chen Beixuan's eyes burned with indignation as he glared at Xuan Yuchen. "You expect me to believe that our families have been working together to betray us? That's madness!" He slammed his fist onto the table, making the cups and plates rattle.

Xuan Yuchen's expression remained stoic, his voice unwavering. "I'm not asking you to believe me, Chen Beixuan. I'm telling you the truth. Our families have been manipulating us, using us to further their own interests."

Chen Beixuan's face turned red with rage. "You're just trying to turn me against my own family! You're nothing but a traitor!"

Xuan Yuchen's eyes flashed with anger, but he remained calm. "I'm not a traitor, Chen Beixuan. I'm a messenger, sent to uncover the truth. And I have proof."

Chen Beixuan snorted. "Proof? Ha! You're just a liar, trying to deceive me."

Xuan Yuchen sighed. "Fine. Don't believe me. But know this: I've seen the documents, Chen Beixuan. I've seen the plans, the meetings, the conversations. Our families have been working together for years, manipulating us to serve their own purposes."

Chen Beixuan's eyes widened in shock, his mind racing with the implications. "What...what do you mean?"

Xuan Yuchen's gaze was cold and calculating. "I mean that our families have been using us to further their own power and influence. They've been manipulating us to do their bidding, to fight their wars, to expand their territory. And you, Chen Beixuan, are just a pawn in their game."

Chen Beixuan felt a cold dread creeping up his spine. He couldn't process this, couldn't believe that his own family would do such a thing. But the more he thought about it, the more it made sense. The more he realized that everything he thought he knew was a lie.
