第60章 "Fates Entwined Tonight"

剑道独尊

**Chapter 60: The Convergence of Fate**

As Lin Feng stepped into the dimly lit chamber, a faint smile played on his lips. Chen Yang, sensing his presence, turned around, his eyes narrowing in expectation. The two men had a complicated history, one that was filled with twists and turns.

"Feng, what brings you here tonight?" Chen Yang asked, his tone neutral, yet possessing a hint of caution.

Lin Feng chuckled, his eyes glinting with amusement. "I heard rumors of a certain individual with exceptional sword skills. Someone who can unravel the mysteries of the sword and shatter the boundaries of human potential."

Chen Yang's expression remained inscrutable, but a flicker of curiosity sparked within him. "Who told you that?"

"Just a small talk among friends," Lin Feng replied, his tone dripping with sarcasm. "I'm sure you know what I'm referring to."

Chen Yang's grip on his sword hilt tightened, his mind racing with the implications. "You're talking about the stranger who appeared at the sword exhibition?"

Lin Feng nodded, his smile growing wider. "The same. I've been searching for him, and I finally managed to track him down. But I'm not here to discuss him. I'm here to discuss us."

Chen Yang raised an eyebrow, his instincts warning him that Lin Feng was hiding something. "What do you want, Feng?"

Lin Feng's eyes seemed to bore into Chen Yang's very soul. "I want to know the truth. The truth about your past, your swordsmanship, and your connection to the Shadows Within."

Chen Yang's grip on his sword hilt tightened further, his hand trembling with rage. "You're not getting anywhere near me, Feng. Not until you tell me what's going on."

Lin Feng chuckled, the sound sending shivers down Chen Yang's spine. "Oh, I think you already know more than you're letting on. And I think our little chat has only just begun."

As Lin Feng's words hung in the air, the shadows within the chamber seemed to stir, as if awakened by the tension between the two men. Chen Yang's eyes locked onto Lin Feng's, a silent challenge echoing between them.

And then, in the blink of an eye, the lights went out, plunging the room into darkness. The air was heavy with anticipation, as if the very fabric of fate was about to unravel.

But which thread would be the first to snap?
