都市之最强狂兵
**Chapter 82: The Unveiling**
Xiao Zhan's eyes flashed with anger as he took another step closer to Shen Yi. "You're saying I'm the one who set up this whole charade?" His voice was low and menacing, but Shen Yi remained emotionless.
"So, it seems you've finally realized the truth," Shen Yi said, his words dripping with sarcasm. "I must admit, it took you long enough."
"What are you talking about, Shen Yi?" Xiao Zhan demanded, his hand clenched into a fist.
"Don't play dumb, Xiao Zhan. You know exactly what I'm talking about. The betrayal, the manipulation, the scheme to take down the entire organization... all of it was your doing," Shen Yi sneered.
Xiao Zhan's face twisted in anger. "You're lying! I would never betray our comrades, never use them as pawns in my game!"
Shen Yi chuckled, a cold, mirthless sound. "Ah, but you did, Xiao Zhan. You did all of it, and now you're going to pay the price."
The air was electric with tension as the two men stood facing each other, their words hanging in the balance. Xiao Zhan's eyes burned with anger, while Shen Yi's remained cold and calculating.
Just as it seemed like things were about to escalate further, a voice rang out from behind them. "What's going on here?"
Xiao Zhan and Shen Yi turned to face the newcomer, their eyes locked in a silent challenge. It was Lin Ruoyun, Xiao Zhan's old flame and a high-ranking member of the organization.
"What's this about, Shen Yi?" Lin Ruoyun asked, her voice firm but wary.
Shen Yi smiled, his eyes glinting with a cruel light. "Ah, Lin Ruoyun. How nice of you to drop by. It seems Xiao Zhan has a little problem with his memory. He seems to have forgotten who he really is."
Xiao Zhan's face darkened in anger. "Shut up, Shen Yi. You're just trying to confuse her."
Lin Ruoyun took a step forward, her eyes flashing with determination. "I don't know what's going on, but I know one thing - Xiao Zhan would never betray us. He's a hero, not a traitor."
Shen Yi's smile grew wider, his eyes glinting with amusement. "Ah, but that's where you're wrong, Lin Ruoyun. Xiao Zhan is a traitor, and I have the proof right here."
With that, Shen Yi reached into his pocket and pulled out a small folder filled with documents and photographs. Xiao Zhan's eyes widened in shock as he recognized the contents - evidence of his supposed betrayal.
"What's going on?" Lin Ruoyun demanded, her voice rising in alarm.
Xiao Zhan's face twisted in anger, his eyes blazing with fury. "This is a lie, Shen Yi. You're just trying to frame me."
Shen Yi shrugged. "Perhaps. But until this is cleared up, I think it's best if you two just... distance yourselves from each other."
As Shen Yi spoke, a group of heavily armed men emerged from the shadows, surrounding Xiao Zhan and Lin Ruoyun. Xiao Zhan's eyes narrowed, his hand instinctively reaching for his gun.
"This isn't over, Shen Yi," he growled, his eyes blazing with fury.
Shen Yi smiled, his eyes glinting with triumph. "Oh, but it is, Xiao Zhan. It most definitely is."
And with that, the two groups clashed, the outcome hanging precariously in the balance. Would Xiao Zhan be able to clear his name and uncover Shen Yi's true intentions? Only time would tell...
