You're the one who convinced us to infiltrate the Zhang family's stronghold without a proper plan!" Shen Yi's calm demeanor seemed to irk Xiao Zhan further. "We almost got caught because of your impulsiveness!"

Lin Qingxue intervened, her voice soothing but firm. "Enough, guys. We've been over this. We made a mistake, but we can't let it escalate into a full-blown disaster. We need to regroup and come up with a new strategy."

Shen Yi nodded, his expression unreadable. "Agreed. But we can't ignore the fact that someone within the Zhang family is working against us. We need to find out who and why." Xiao Zhan snorted. As they spoke, a sleek, black sedan pulled up beside them. The window rolled down, revealing the cold, calculating gaze of Tang Xiaoli, a high-ranking officer in the South Zone's Special Task Force.
