第158章 "Shadow's Betrayal"

都市之最强狂兵

**Chapter 158: The Game of Shadows (Part 49)**

Lin Feng's eyes flashed with anger as he slammed his fist on the table. The sudden movement sent Xiao Zhan's cup of coffee flying, and the liquid spilled all over the surface. "You think I'm a pawn in your game?" Lin Feng's voice rose to a shout. "I'm the one who's been played, huh?"

Xiao Zhan's eyes darted around the room, searching for an escape route. He knew he had gone too far, but he didn't expect Lin Feng to react so violently. "Lin Feng, please—"

"Please?" Lin Feng's laughter was cold and mirthless. "You're the one who's been playing me all along. You used me to get closer to the top, and now you're trying to get rid of me?"

Xiao Zhan's face turned pale as he realized the gravity of his mistake. He knew he had to think fast to defuse the situation. "Lin Feng, I—"

But Lin Feng wasn't listening. His anger was building up, and he was about to unleash his fury on Xiao Zhan. Suddenly, the lights in the room began to flicker, and the air was charged with electricity. Xiao Zhan's eyes widened in surprise as he realized that Lin Feng was summoning his powers.

"No, Lin Feng, don't—" But it was too late. Lin Feng's fist crashed down on Xiao Zhan's table, and a blast of energy sent the man flying across the room.

The door burst open, and a group of heavily armed men stormed in. "Lin Feng, we've been looking for you," one of them growled. "You're coming with us."

Lin Feng's eyes narrowed as he took in the situation. Who were these men, and what did they want with him? He was about to find out when he noticed Xiao Zhan struggling to get to his feet. The man's eyes locked onto Lin Feng, and a secret message flashed between them.

"Wait," Lin Feng said, his voice low and menacing. "You're not taking me anywhere."

The men hesitated, unsure of what to do. Lin Feng took advantage of the momentary lapse and launched himself at them. The room erupted into chaos as the two groups clashed.

As the dust settled, Lin Feng found himself facing off against the leader of the group. The man was tall and imposing, with a scar above his left eyebrow. "You're a hard man to find, Lin Feng," he said. "But I've finally caught up with you."

Lin Feng smiled, his eyes glinting with anger. "And I've finally found out what you're after."

The man sneered. "You don't know what you're dealing with. You're just a pawn in a much bigger game."

Lin Feng's eyes snapped with fury. "I'm done being a pawn. It's time for me to take control."

And with that, the battle began. The fate of the game was about to take a drastic turn, and only one man would emerge victorious.
