都市之最强狂兵

**Chapter 142: The Game of Shadows (Part 33)**

The silence was palpable as Lin Feng and Xiao Zhan stood facing each other, their eyes locked in a fierce stare. It was as if the very fate of the world hung in the balance. The crowd was too stunned to breathe, their hearts pounding in their chests.

Suddenly, Xiao Zhan's expression changed. His eyes narrowed, and a cold, calculated smile spread across his face. "You're a formidable opponent, Lin Feng," he said, his voice dripping with sarcasm. "But you're no match for me. I've been waiting for this moment for a long time."

Lin Feng's eyes flashed with anger. "You're a fool if you think you can take me down so easily," he snarled, his fists clenched at his sides.

With a flick of his wrist, Xiao Zhan sent a stream of shadowy energy hurtling towards Lin Feng. The younger man sidestepped it effortlessly, but Xiao Zhan was relentless. He unleashed a barrage of attacks, each one more powerful than the last.

Lin Feng danced around Xiao Zhan, his movements lightning-fast as he countered each blow. But he was starting to tire. The strain of fighting such a formidable foe was beginning to take its toll.

Just when it seemed like Xiao Zhan was about to gain the upper hand, Lin Feng's eyes locked onto something behind his opponent. A cold, calculating glint flickered in his gaze, and he grinned savagely.

"You're not the only one with tricks up your sleeve, Xiao Zhan," he said, a wicked gleam in his eye.

With a sudden burst of speed, Lin Feng launched himself at Xiao Zhan, his fists flying in a blur of motion. Xiao Zhan stumbled back, his eyes widening in surprise.

But Lin Feng was just getting started. With a savage cry, he unleashed a torrent of energy, sending Xiao Zhan crashing to the ground.

The crowd erupted into cheers as Lin Feng stood over his defeated opponent, his chest heaving with exhaustion. But his victory was short-lived. As he turned to walk away, he was confronted by a figure emerging from the shadows.

It was Qiao Yi, Xiao Zhan's top lieutenant. His eyes burned with a deadly intensity as he drew a gun from his waistband.

"You may have won this battle, Lin Feng," he growled, "but the war is far from over."

Lin Feng's eyes narrowed, his gaze flicking to the gun. "I'm not afraid of you, Qiao Yi," he said, his voice steady and calm.

Qiao Yi sneered. "We'll see about that," he said, and pulled the trigger.

The crowd gasped as Lin Feng stumbled back, a bullet lodged in his shoulder. The pain was fleeting, replaced by a burning rage.

"Who sent you?" Lin Feng snarled, his eyes blazing with fury.

Qiao Yi's smile grew wider. "You know exactly who sent me," he said, and vanished into the shadows, leaving Lin Feng to wonder what new threats lay ahead.
