第73章 "Vengeance Unraveled"

重生之都市仙尊

**73rd Chapter: The Web of Revenge**

Lin Qingxue's eyes flashed with a mixture of rage and desperation, and Jiang Wanshan watched her with a calm, calculating gaze. "You should have kept your secrets to yourself," he said, his voice dripping with disdain.

Lin Qingxue's face contorted in a snarl, and she took a step forward, her hand tightening around the artifact. "You'll pay for this, Jiang Wanshan!" she hissed.

Jiang Wanshan shrugged, his expression unchanging. "I'm not the one who betrayed you, Lin Qingxue. You should be thanking me for exposing your treachery."

The air was electric with tension as the two former allies faced off, their animosity palpable. Lin Qingxue's eyes burned with a fierce determination, while Jiang Wanshan's gaze remained cold and calculating.

"You're just trying to cover your own tracks," Lin Qingxue spat, her voice venomous. "You're the one who was supposed to help me, not betray me!"

Jiang Wanshan's smile was a cold, calculated thing. "I never promised you anything, Lin Qingxue. You were just a pawn in a game I didn't even play. And now that I've moved on, you're just a relic of the past."

Lin Qingxue's face turned white with rage, and she lunged at Jiang Wanshan, the artifact flashing in her hand. But Jiang Wanshan was too quick, and he sidestepped her attack with ease.

As they circled each other, the tension in the air grew thicker, the air charged with electricity. It seemed as though the very fate of their souls hung in the balance.

And then, just as it seemed that Lin Qingxue was about to launch another attack, a sudden burst of light illuminated the clearing, and a figure appeared at the edge of their vision.

"Ah, looks like someone's trying to join the party," Jiang Wanshan said, his voice dripping with amusement.

Lin Qingxue's eyes flicked towards the newcomer, her expression darkening with suspicion. "Who is this?" she growled.

The newcomer, a tall, lean figure with piercing blue eyes, smiled lazily. "Just someone who's been watching the game unfold," he said, his voice dripping with menace. "And I think it's time for me to make my move."

As the newcomer approached, Lin Qingxue's eyes narrowed, her hand tightening around the artifact. Jiang Wanshan, however, watched him with a calculating gaze, his expression unreadable.

And in that moment, the very fabric of their world seemed to unravel, the threads of fate twisting and turning in ways no one could predict.
