**95章:暗流的渊源**

Chen Yang's eyes flashed with determination as he leaned forward, his voice low and menacing. "I'm not leaving until I get the truth from you, Lin Xuan. You're hiding something, and I aim to find out what it is."

Lin Xuan's expression remained unchanged, but Chen Yang could sense a flicker of unease behind his mask of calm. "I've already told you, Chen Yang, I have nothing to hide," he repeated, his voice dripping with sincerity.

But Chen Yang wasn't convinced. He could smell the desperation emanating from Lin Xuan, and it only piqued his curiosity further. "Then why the sudden change of heart? Why are you so reluctant to talk about your relationship with Ou Yang Hao?" he pressed, his eyes boring into Lin Xuan's.

Lin Xuan's gaze drifted away, avoiding Chen Yang's piercing stare. "I'm just...not comfortable discussing personal matters," he muttered, his voice barely audible.

Chen Yang's eyes narrowed. "Personal matters? You're talking about Ou Yang Hao, a man who's rumored to have ties to the underworld. You're telling me that's just a personal matter?"

Lin Xuan's face darkened, and for a moment, Chen Yang thought he saw a glimmer of the truth. But it was quickly replaced by a bland smile. "I assure you, Chen Yang, I have nothing to do with the underworld. And even if I did, it's not your concern."

Chen Yang's fist clenched, his anger simmering just below the surface. He knew he was pushing Lin Xuan to his limits, but he couldn't back down now. "You're right, it's not my concern," he spat, his voice dripping with venom. "But I'll find out the truth, even if it kills me."

As the words left his lips, a sudden commotion erupted outside the room. The sounds of shattering glass and muffled screams filled the air, followed by the eerie silence that fell in its wake.

Chen Yang's eyes snapped to Lin Xuan's, his mind racing with possibilities. "What's going on?" he demanded, his voice low and urgent.

Lin Xuan's expression was unreadable, but a flicker of something – fear? panic? – danced in his eyes. "I don't know," he breathed, his voice barely audible. "But I think we should get out of here. Now."

And with that, the two men pushed back their chairs and made a hasty exit, leaving the mystery of the origin's secret to simmer, unsolved, for the moment. But Chen Yang's mind was racing with possibilities, and he knew that this was far from over. The truth was out there, and he was determined to find it, no matter the cost.
