**147章:选择的关隘**
Chen Yang sat on the bench, staring blankly at the hospital's courtyard. He couldn't shake off the feeling of betrayal that lingered in his chest. Lin Xuan, someone he had considered a mentor and a friend, had stabbed him in the back. The thought of it made his blood boil.
As he sat there, a figure emerged from the shadows. It was Wang Li, a fellow doctor who had always been friendly towards him.
"Hey, Chen Yang, what's going on?" Wang Li asked, concern etched on his face. "I saw you arguing with Lin Xuan earlier. Is everything okay?"
Chen Yang's anger flared up again, but he took a deep breath and tried to calm down. "It's just a misunderstanding," he said curtly.
Wang Li looked skeptical. "A misunderstanding? You're not going to tell me what really happened?"
Chen Yang hesitated. He didn't want to burden Wang Li with his problems, but something about the other doctor's concerns made him want to open up.
"It's just... Lin Xuan and I had a disagreement about a patient's treatment," Chen Yang said, his voice low and even. "He thinks I'm not following the protocol, but I know I'm right. And now... now he's trying to sabotage me."
Wang Li's eyes widened in surprise. "Sabotage you? That's unbelievable. What can I do to help?"
Chen Yang's trust in Wang Li was rekindled. Maybe he didn't need to go it alone after all.
"Thanks, Wang Li," he said, gratitude in his voice. "Just being able to talk to you helps. But I need to think about my next move. I can't just sit around and do nothing."
Wang Li nodded. "I agree. You need to take action. But be careful, Chen Yang. Lin Xuan's not someone to be trifled with."
Chen Yang's anger surged again, but this time it was tempered with a sense of determination. He was going to take back control, and he was going to make Lin Xuan pay for his betrayal.
As he stood up, Wang Li put a hand on his shoulder. "Remember, Chen Yang, you're not alone. We're all here for you."
Chen Yang smiled, a cold, calculating smile. "I'll remember that."
And with that, he turned and walked away, leaving Wang Li to wonder what was really going on in his mind.
The night was dark and foreboding, but Chen Yang felt a sense of clarity wash over him. He knew what he had to do. The question was, what would be the cost?
