**145章:怒潮的反思**
Chen Yang walked out of the hospital building, feeling the cool evening air wash over him as he tried to calm his racing thoughts. He couldn't believe what had just happened. He had been so sure that Lin Xuan was on his side, that he would support him in his fight against the corrupt hospital administration. But instead, the director had stabbed him in the back, refusing to stand up for him even when faced with a clear case of injustice.
As he walked, Chen Yang's mind replayed the events of the past few days. He thought about all the late nights, all the endless cups of coffee, all the sacrifices he had made to become a doctor. And for what? So that he could be kicked out of the hospital by someone he thought was a friend?
Chen Yang's anger still simmered beneath the surface, but he knew he had to calm down and think things through. He couldn't let his emotions cloud his judgment. He needed to come up with a plan, to figure out what he was going to do next.
As he turned a corner, Chen Yang noticed a small, unassuming storefront. The sign above the door read "Jiang City Traditional Medicine" in faded letters. Chen Yang's curiosity was piqued. He had never seen a traditional medicine shop in the city before. What kind of treatments did they offer? And what kind of people came here?
Without hesitation, Chen Yang pushed open the door and stepped inside. The shop was dimly lit, with rows of shelves filled with strange-looking bottles and jars. In the back, a bespectacled old man with a wispy beard looked up from behind the counter.
"Welcome, young doctor," the old man said, his voice low and gravelly. "What brings you to my humble shop?"
Chen Yang approached the counter, his eyes scanning the shelves. "I'm just browsing," he said. "I'm interested in traditional medicine."
The old man nodded, his eyes twinkling. "Ah, a kindred spirit. I am Master Wang, a practitioner of traditional medicine. What do you know about our craft?"
Chen Yang hesitated, unsure of what to say. But something about Master Wang's warm, kindly demeanor put him at ease. "Not much," he admitted. "But I'm interested in learning more."
Master Wang nodded, his eyes lighting up. "Ah, an eager student! Come, let me show you some of our most precious remedies."
As Chen Yang followed Master Wang to the back of the shop, he couldn't help but feel a sense of excitement. What secrets would Master Wang reveal? And how would they change his understanding of medicine forever?
But just as they were about to begin their lesson, a loud commotion erupted outside. Chen Yang's heart skipped a beat as he heard the sound of breaking glass and shouting.
"What's going on?" Chen Yang asked, his eyes scanning the windows.
Master Wang's expression turned grave. "I'm afraid it's the hospital," he said. "They've come to shut us down."
Chen Yang's blood ran cold. What was happening? And why was the hospital targeting Master Wang's shop?
As the commotion outside grew louder, Chen Yang knew he had to act fast. He turned to Master Wang, a determination burning in his chest.
"I'll help you," he said, his voice firm. "We'll fight back against the hospital together."
Master Wang's eyes widened in surprise. "Ah, young doctor, you're a true warrior. Together, we'll show them the true power of traditional medicine!"
But just as they were about to face off against the hospital, Chen Yang heard a faint whisper in his ear.
"Chen Yang, be careful. You're playing with fire."
Who was speaking to him? And what did they mean?
Chen Yang's heart pounded in his chest as he turned around, his eyes scanning the room. But there was no one there. The whisper seemed to come from nowhere, leaving him with more questions than answers.
And as the hospital officials burst into the shop, Chen Yang knew that his greatest adventure was only just beginning...
