Chen Yang's furious punches seemed to have reached their peak, but Lin Xuan, fueled by his own anger and ambition, refused to back down. With a snarl, he launched a powerful kick, sending Chen Yang flying across the room.

As Chen Yang struggled to regain his footing, Lin Xuan pounced, pinning him to the ground with a knee on his chest. "You're finished, Chen Yang," he hissed, his eyes blazing with malevolence.

But Chen Yang, his pride wounded and his anger still simmering, refused to surrender. With a swift movement, he managed to wriggle free from Lin Xuan's grasp and send the director crashing to the floor.

The two men glared at each other, their chests heaving with exhaustion and anger. The air was thick with tension, until suddenly, the hospital's door burst open and a frantic nurse rushed in.

"Director! Director, what's going on?" she cried, her eyes wide with panic.

Lin Xuan, still seething with rage, glared at the nurse. "Get out of here, you foolish woman," he snarled.

But Chen Yang, sensing an opportunity, seized the nurse's arm and pulled her close. "Don't worry, nurse," he whispered urgently. "I'll take care of this."

With a swift motion, Chen Yang snatched a nearby pen from the nurse's pocket and scribbled a hasty note. "Give this to the mayor," he instructed the nurse, his eyes never leaving Lin Xuan's face. "Tell him about the hospital's corruption and Lin Xuan's schemes."

The nurse, still bewildered, nodded hastily and took the note, before fleeing the room in terror.

As the door slammed shut, Lin Xuan's face turned a dark shade of purple with rage. "You'll pay for this, Chen Yang," he growled, his eyes blazing with hatred.

Chen Yang, unfazed, smiled grimly. "I'm not afraid of you, Lin Xuan," he said, his voice low and even. "But I am afraid of what you might do to innocent people."

The tension between the two men was palpable, until suddenly, the hospital's intercom crackled to life. "Attention all staff," a calm voice intoned. "The mayor is on his way to the hospital. Please report to the auditorium for a special briefing."

Chen Yang's eyes locked onto Lin Xuan's, and for a moment, they seemed to be the only two people in the room. Then, with a swift movement, Chen Yang turned and strode towards the door, leaving Lin Xuan to seethe with rage and impotence.

As the door closed behind Chen Yang, Lin Xuan's eyes narrowed to slits. The game was far from over. And he would stop at nothing to crush his nemesis...
