Chen Yang's eyes flashed with determination as he tightened his grip on Lin Xuan's wrist. "I'm not going anywhere until you tell me the truth," he said, his voice firm but controlled.

Lin Xuan's face twisted with anger, but he knew he couldn't break free. Chen Yang's medical skills were unmatched, and he knew that if he was injured, it would be a death sentence. "Fine," he spat, "I'll tell you. But you'll regret asking."

Chen Yang's eyes narrowed. "What are you talking about?"

Lin Xuan's gaze darted around the room before landing back on Chen Yang. "I'm talking about the evidence. The evidence that I have that will destroy your precious reputation."

Chen Yang's grip on Lin Xuan's wrist relaxed slightly, his mind racing. What evidence could Lin Xuan possibly have? "What evidence?" he repeated, his voice calm but his mind racing with possibilities.

Lin Xuan's smile was cruel. "You'll see. You'll see soon enough."

Just then, a knock at the door interrupted their tense standoff. Chen Yang's eyes flicked to the door before returning to Lin Xuan. "Who is it?" he called out.

"It's Dr. Li from the hospital," a voice replied. "I need to speak with you urgently."

Chen Yang's eyes met Lin Xuan's, and for a moment, they just stared at each other. Then, Chen Yang stood up, releasing Lin Xuan's wrist. "I'll be right there," he said, and walked out of the room.

As soon as Chen Yang left, Lin Xuan's expression changed from smug to worried. He knew that Dr. Li's arrival was a bad omen. He quickly got up and made his way to the window, watching as Chen Yang disappeared into the night.

Dr. Li's voice echoed in Chen Yang's mind as he walked to the hospital. "What's going on, Chen Yang? We've received a mysterious package. It's addressed to you, but there's no return address. We're not sure what's inside, but we think it might be important."

Chen Yang's heart skipped a beat as he quickened his pace. What could be in that package? And why would it be addressed to him?

As he entered the hospital, he was greeted by Dr. Li's concerned expression. "Chen Yang, what's going on? You look like you've seen a ghost."

Chen Yang's mind was racing. He knew that he had to get to the bottom of this mystery. But little did he know, the shadows that were cast by this package would change everything.
